Hi. Welcome to the first installment of Waaaazzup with Wil. My name is Wil, and I’ll be your host.
Many of you, I’m sure, have been asking yourself, What’s up with Wil? I thought he was doing that whole NaBloPoMo thing. Well, today, on Waaaazzup with Wil, I’m going to tell you what I’ve been doing instead of writing daily posts. I’ve been…
- Playing around with embedded fonts from Kernest*
- Doing one-leg push-ups (n.b. one-leg, not one-arm!)
- Drinking GT’s kombucha
- Eating well, splurging on Organic Valley’s pasture butter
- Playing Civ II
- Watching The Office
- Finishing The Famished Road (amazing writing, but I never really connected with the main character), starting The Raw Shark Texts (loving it)
- Driving to Albuquerque to get the car repainted (it’s only needed it for…umm…two years or so)
- Working…
This installation of Waaaazzup with Wil has been brought to you by the Schwinn Sting-Ray (one sweet ride)

* With mixed results: Firefox 3.5 and Safari 3.2 display the fonts perfectly. Internet Explorer 8 and Safari 4 display three out of four of the embedded fonts (huh?). Chrome 3 doesn’t display them at all.
Embedded fonts are a lot of fun. I finally was able to alter my blog name on my home page with the help of an embedded font program. Though I wish I had known you were playing with them — I could have asked for some advice! Thanks so much for lurking, and subsequently de-lurking over at my blog. I like what you do here a lot too — so you’re now in my Google reader.
Have a great Monday!
Thanks Brandi! Browser support for html/css @font-face embedded fonts still seems a bit dodgy, but it has been fun playing around with fonts.
